The coed San Diego Rowing Club Junior Crew program is committed to teaching the rewards of rowing and what it means to be a part of a "crew". Aside from the fact that rowing is one of the best sports for building endurance and all-round physical conditioning, the benefits of the program are many. Our rowers come from all over San Diego County and enjoy great team camaraderie in addition to dedication, hard work, and the "art" of rowing... and it is indeed an art. Because rowing is so physically and mentally demanding, our team engages in reinforcing one another in maintaining our commitment to the highest standards of personal and athletic excellence. SDRC rowers are also recruited by the finest colleges in the country!
